The Story Behind "We Care"

From a small Pioneerspark shop to Namibia's largest pet paradise.

City Pets opened its doors in 2008 with a simple idea: every pet — from playful pups to colourful parrots — deserves the very best. What started as a small neighbourhood shop in Pioneerspark has grown into Namibia's largest pet retailer, but the heart of the place hasn't changed one bit.

We still treat every customer — and every pet — like family. We still get genuinely excited when a new puppy comes in for their first lead. We still take the time to talk you through which food best suits your fussy older cat, or which cage will keep your cockatoo happy for years to come.
